Kevin Trainor, Director
Benecaid Health Benefit Solutions Inc.
Kevin is a Co-Founder and Director of Benecaid, a leading Canadian provider of health benefits solutions. A serial entrepreneur, Kevin co-founded Henry Schein Canada, which is now the largest detail equipment and supply distributor in Canada, and has launched or contributed to the growth of several small to medium sized companies before forming Benecaid.
Kevin's experience managing small, high-growth companies led to a growing frustration with the rising premiums and reduced benefits under traditional health benefits plans offered through the large, traditional carriers. In 2000, Kevin partnered with a like-minded associate and together developed health benefits solutions that work for sole proprietors, and small to medium sized businesses and offer large corporations an alternative to traditional plans.
Benecaid now provides health benefits to more than 50,000 Canadians and has been recognized among the Profit100 by Profit Magazine for two years in a row.
Kevin's focus, passion and in-depth knowledge of the group health benefits industry, combined with his entrepreneurial experience have made him a trusted advisor to businesses across Canada.
Kevin graduated from McMaster University in 1980 and lives in Toronto with his wife and two children.
